Senior Implementation Manager
Join Summize as Senior Implementation Manager: own complex enterprise deployments, advise C‑suite clients, and shape scalable delivery that delivers measurable value.
We’re Summize, an ambitious legal tech scale-up based in the US and UK, working with businesses all over the globe. Our mission is simple, to get entire businesses working faster and smarter with contracts. We’re a growing team making big things happen out of HQs in Manchester, UK, Boston and San Diego, US and we’re not stopping! Following our recent $50 Million Series B investment we’re looking for forward-thinkers, innovators and problem solvers to join our dynamic team as we enter our next growth phase.
The Role
This is not a standard implementation role. As Senior Implementation Manager, you'll take ownership of our most complex, high-value enterprise deployments - the ones that require strategic thinking, executive-level relationships and the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating sophisticated business and legal requirements into clear, effective implementation strategies. But your impact won't stop at delivery. You'll help define how the Implementation function operates at Summize improving our processes, sharing your expertise with the team, and contributing to how we scale.
If you're someone who has mastered the fundamentals of implementation and is ready to lead at a higher level, this is the role for you.
Role Responsibilities
Project delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value enterprise implementations, managing multiple strategic accounts concurrently.
Drive projects to completion using our sprint-based methodology, maintaining a clear view of priorities across your full portfolio.
Act as the senior escalation point for clients and internal teams, resolving issues with urgency and sound judgement.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client contacts, including C-suite, General Counsel and legal operations leadership.
Lead executive-level project reviews, presenting progress, risks and outcomes with authority and clarity.
Translate complex, often ambiguous business requirements into structured implementation plans that deliver measurable value.
Risk & Complexity Management
Anticipate project risks before they materialise and develop robust contingency plans for high-complexity engagements.
Navigate competing stakeholder priorities and internal dependencies to keep strategic projects on track.
Make confident, well-reasoned decisions under pressure, without requiring day-to-day oversight.
Process Improvement & Scalability
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in our implementation methodology and lead the development of best practices that can be applied across the team.
Contribute to the evolution of our tooling, documentation and delivery frameworks as we scale.
Work closely with the Head of Implementation to shape how the function operates.
Team collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Act as a senior voice within the implementation team, supporting the development of less experienced colleagues through coaching and knowledge-sharing.
Contribute to onboarding new team members and raising the overall standard of delivery.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Cross-Functional Influence
Align Sales, Legal Engineering, Customer Success and Product teams around enterprise client delivery and outcomes.
Provide structured, insight-driven feedback to the Product team based on patterns observed across enterprise implementations.
Represent the Implementation function in strategic internal discussions.
What we're looking for
Circa 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing Implementation, customer onboarding, or Project Management role, ideally within a SaaS business.
A proven track record of previously being directly responsible for delivering complex, enterprise-level implementations involving multiple stakeholders across multiple regions.
A quick learner who can get up to speed quickly and make an impact fast.
Experience working with or within Legal Operations or Legal Tech would be strongly preferred but not a must
Confident and credible at senior stakeholder level, including C-suite engagement.
Strong command of project management methodologies; formal accreditation such as PRINCE2 is a distinct advantage.
Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
Experience informally leading, coaching or mentoring peers.
Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
What we offer
26 days’ vacation plus flexible public holidays (increasing by one holiday for each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days).
Private Healthcare and Dental Coverage
Access to discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness and more
Employee Retirement Plan (401k)

Rich learning and development opportunities supported through our Growth Mindset Fund.
Seaport based offices with fantastic perks, fully stocked fridge providing soft drinks and snacks
