The Role
We're seeking a People Business Partner (for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract) to provide strategic HR support across the organisation. You'll be a trusted advisor to leaders and teams on employee relations, performance management, grievance and disciplinary matters.
You'll handle core HR operations including absence monitoring, payroll queries, and HR record maintenance, while staying current with UK and US employment legislation to ensure business compliance.
You'll partner with leaders to develop and implement HR policies, enhance reward and benefits schemes, support ED&I initiatives, and lead key people projects. You'll also nurture a positive workplace culture, working with teams across the business to strengthen our people offerings.
This role requires strong HR expertise, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to provide strategic guidance at all levels of the organization.
Role Responsibilities
Coordinate induction and onboarding programs for new hires.
Manage all daily operational HR tasks including monitoring absence and staff turnover, maintaining HR records and managing payroll process and queries.
Develop existing and implement new HR policies, procedures and practices and ensure existing policies and procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure the business is compliant with current employment legislation. Keep the company informed of legislative and internal policy changes or requirements in the UK
Provide strong counsel to people leaders and manager on all employee relations issues. Provide guidance on the grievance, discipline and performance review processes.
Partner with the CEO, Executive leadership team and People Managers, providing advice and strategic input.
Continually influence and drive change through the business.
Develop and execute the overarching people strategy.
Design and implement reward schemes, with continuous enhancement of benefits.
Maintain extensive ER knowledge, keeping up to date with all legal changes.
Design and lead the ED&I framework and strategy.
Develop and maintain robust, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Lead on strategic internal HR and people projects.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Support our Global Office Manager and facilities team in organising office events to support the culture of the business.
What we’re looking for
Human resources degree or equivalent CIPD Level 5-7, with at least 3 years' of proven experience in a similar role.
Experience in a fast moving technology or SaaS business
Excellent oral, written, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and tact.
A flexible, can-do attitude with strong organisational skills.
People oriented and results driven.
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
Knowledge and previous experience of HR systems (preferrably HiBob) and databases.
